The District meets on the last Thursday of the month at 9:00 am at the District office. The Annual Meeting is held on the first Friday in December at 10:00 am at the District office. Copies of the meeting minutes may be obtained by calling the District office at 772-461-5050 or emailing the office.

The Establishing Entity for North St. Lucie River Water Control District is the Florida Legislature. North St. Lucie River Water Control District was originally created in 1918 under the provisions of Chapter 298, Florida Statutes, commonly referred to as the General Drainage Law of Florida. For more information and service boundaries of the District, consult the District’s Charter. The District’s Map also is provided for your reference.

The Code of Ethics for Public Officers and Employees, adopted by the Legislature as Part III of Chapter 112, Florida Statutes, contains standards of ethical conduct and disclosures applicable to public officers, employees, candidates, lobbyists, and others in State and local government, with the exception of judges.

The “Sunshine Amendment,” adopted by Florida voters through a constitutional initiative in 1976 as Article II, Section 8, Florida Constitution, contains standards of ethical conduct and disclosures applicable to public officers and employees; it also requires the Legislature to adopt the code of ethics described above. Request for Qualifications

North St. Lucie River Water Control District Request for Qualifications – Engineering Services

Sealed Statements of Qualifications will be received at the North St. Lucie River Water Control District’s Office located at 14666 Orange Avenue Fort Pierce, Florida 34945, until October 17, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The Qualifications will be opened and publicly read on October 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM concerning any or all of the following categories of services: Civil Engineering and Surveying for the North St. Lucie River Water Control District, in accordance with Section 287.055, Florida Statutes. Length of contract: Continuing annually for three (3) years with up to three (3) additional one-year extensions.
